Research and reports consistently reveal a high prevalence of common mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, and stress-related disorders—issues increasingly linked to modern lifestyle pressures, shifting social dynamics, and economic uncertainty.
Tragically, Kerala has also recorded higher-than-average suicide rates, underscoring the urgent need for preventive measures, crisis intervention, and sustained psychological care.
Despite this growing concern, a wide treatment gap persists. Many individuals in need of support do not receive adequate care, hindered by social stigma, limited awareness, financial constraints, and a lack of accessible infrastructure, particularly in rural and semi-urban regions. In response to this pressing need, we are establishing a dedicated MentalHealth Clinic — a vital new resource committed to nurturing the minds and spirits of our community. Rooted in compassion and professionalism, this initiative aims to make quality mental health services more accessible, affordable, and holistic, beginning in the Thrissur District and extending its reach throughout Kerala.
